2007 has been another great year in the life of Pod1, we have seen the agency continue to grow both in terms of staff and also in terms of business.

It wouldn’t be a proper end of year round up if we didn’t look back at some of our successes from the past year. So in looking at 2007 one word instantly springs to mind and that is ‘e-commerce’, with site launches and design work for some of the high streets biggest fashion brands like Kurt Geiger, Reiss, Uniqlo, Coast, Whistles and Anya Hindmarch to name but a few. While away from the high street we have continued to work with other big brands like Picture Financial, Kenwood, Schroeders and Hiscox.

On a more personal note 2007 was also the year Pod1 went to New York, and decided to stay, with the opening of our new offices who knows what next year will have in store……

So as 2007 comes to a close lets all look forward to a happy and prosperous 2008.

In Design Week’s annual review of UK design agencies, we ranked 61 (previously 100)..coming 2nd in the leap-froggers league and 3rd in growth in fee income. We also rose 18 places in NMA’s top 100 annual survey to no 82.

So looking back at 2007, one word instantly springs to mind and that’s ‘eCommerce’, with site launches and design work for some of the high street’s biggest fashion brands like Kurt Geiger, Reiss, Uniqlo, Coast, Whistles and Anya Hindmarch to name but a few. While away from the high street we have continued to work with other great clients like Picture Financial, Kenwood, Schroders and Hiscox. We’re also really proud of Paramount Hotels for picking up Best Hotel Website in the Travolution awards.

2007 was also the year that Pod1 went to America with the opening of our first office stateside in Soho, New York.

Bring on 2008!

The international asset management and investment firm Schroders has appointed Pod1 as their new online marketing agency.

Pod1 will be creating a comprehensive online marketing campaign to help Schroders gain the greatest benefits from their existing website & online presence. In overall terms, the marketing campaign will help to increase the profile of the company online and to increase the exposure for the online audience.

This decision follows the appointment earlier this year, of their new head of marketing, James Rainbow. He received the promotion after James Cardew was promoted to pan-European marketing head. Previously James was with Baring Asset Management.

Schroders made the decision to make use of more accessible internet-based campaigns last year in order to catch the attention of clients and draw them to its highly effective fund management products.

The initial Schroders campaign made use of a Wild West theme designed to increase attention and usage of its Income Maximiser fund.
