Can a new digital fashion revolution start from bloggers?

It’s amazing how digital technology can make everyday practices sharable on the web, making them a new popular social experience.  Take Alix, a Parisian fashion designer who loves fashion and publishes a different look from her wardrobe each day on her blog www.thecherryblossomgirl.com, providing personal styling advice which reaches a broad audience.

Another interesting blog showing tips and fashion suggestions is Pandora: http://www.misspandora.fr/?lang=en

More eccentric yet very popular blog is What Katie Wore, showing off Katie’s daily outfits here http://www.whatkatiewore.com/

..And same does Susie Bubble on her Style Bubble:

http://www.stylebubble.co.uk/

These fashion tips from real people have been a big and unexpected change in fashion’s perspective in these times. From their wardrobe to the world, looks like fashion lovers are becoming new icons, making themselves model, photographer and stylist all in one. Every girls’ personal wonderland could be the new style must-have.

Could this be a new challenge for fashion brands? …Maybe I should start to film myself in the morning when I struggle to choose what to wear, it’s never too late.

Alice, Tim Burton and Disney – and all those fabulous designer ranges…

Is this going to be the most fashionable film release of the year? Personally i can’t wait – Tim Burton, check, Jonny Depp, check, fantatsic costumes, check, showing in 3D, check…

The official Disney opening of Alice in Wonderland back in 2009 broke the news of Tom Binns and his exclusive range:

The other designers bought on board by Disney have really pulled out the stops with their interpretation of the Alice in Wonderland theme.
Stella and Anna Lou in particular – take a look at these:

From Stella:

From Anna Lou:

Temperley’s range is just amazing – take a look.

I am off to buy a top hat and book my ticket at the Imax (tickets are selling fast).

Robin & Artur at Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park

“What to do on a cold December day to celebrate winning Pod1’s “Above and Beyond” award?”  Said Robin

“Why not go to Winter Wonderland and see what the top rides are?” Replied Artur,

“If we’re lucky, we may even get to see Santa.”

Five hours, numerous rides, much mulled wine and a meeting with Father Christmas later, Robin and Artur emerged with the following evidence:

Best ride:

Power Tower (2:08)  – 66metres of vertical ascent, followed by one of the best views of London I’ve seen in a while, completed by a rapid descent. And then up. And Down. And Up. And Dooooooooown.

Worst Ride:

The Black Hole. (2:48)  It was a rollercoaster. In the Dark. Where’s the fun in not seeing where you’re going?

Honourable mention:

The Spinning ride thing. (1:32)  Too much fun for something which basically whisked you round in circles. It’s the simple things sometimes, no?

Best moment:

Meeting Father Christmas. He’s real! (1:56)

“Have you been good little boys? … Why aren’t you at work today?”

Net-a-porter.com Cruise campaign

Net-a-porter extends our Wonderland concept into their latest Cruise campaign. This time though, we were tasked to create banners beyond the traditional formats such as the push down unit on sites like Elle UK and Style. With a combination of supporting media formats and branded graphics we’ve completely taken over Elle UK today!

Pod1 conceived the multi-language campaign following a brief from Net-a-porter to help launch the SS09 season.

If you’re quick, you can see the banners in action on Elleuk.com, style.com and Vogue UK. I’ve managed to capture a snippet of one in action below:
